Description
21 Berkley Street is a late 18th-century building that has been refaced in the earlier to mid-19th century. Originally, it was three cottages, now forming a semi-detached pair with one window each and a two-storey, one-window addition at the north end. The building features a tiled roof with a central gault brick ridge stack and a gable stack on the addition. It has a timber frame that has been refronted in gault brick. The gabled dormers include Yorkshire sash windows, while the segmental arched windows also have Yorkshire sashes and glazing bars. The doorways are segmental arched, with the main entrance set in an arched recess next to an adjacent window, featuring a panelled door. Nos 21 to 25 (odd) form a group.
