Description

No. 27 High Street is a late 17th-century cottage that faces the road with a gable end. It features a timber frame with incised plaster rendering on the front and rough-cast on the sides. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with pantiles, and there is a red brick ridge stack. The building is one storey with attics, including two dormers. It has two horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars and two 19th-century plank doors.
