Description

Dove Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that had its roof raised in the 19th century. It is constructed of colour-washed brick, with smaller bricks used for the lower courses. The cottage features a 19th-century patterned tiled roof with crested ridge tiles and a deep overhang at the gable ends. There is one ridge stack and two end stacks, along with string courses. The building is one storey with attics. The road-facing elevation includes two 19th-century hung sash windows with vertical glazing bars, and there is a cambered arch above the plank door.
