Description
This is a 19th-century building located on the Great North Road in Eaton Socon. It is a two-storey, double-fronted structure with three window bays, including two flanking splayed bay windows, each containing three windows. The roof is hipped and slated, with projecting eaves over the bay windows. The building is constructed of gault brick and features recessed sash windows with gauged segmental brick arches. A wooden, modified Doric prostyle portico provides access to a round-arched doorway, which has a patterned fanlight and a panelled door. The building is listed primarily for the architectural merit of the portico and doorway.
