Description

This is a 16th-century house located on the Great North Road in Eaton Socon. The house is timber-framed with a plastered front and brick return, and has a tiled roof. It is two storeys high, with two gables featuring brick coping. The front elevation has two first-floor panels. The entrance is marked by a six-panel flush door within a wooden surround, decorated with consoles and a cornice hood. Flanking the entrance are two splayed bays with cornices and sash windows containing glazing bars. An early 19th-century rear extension is also present.
