Description

The Old Plough Inn is a 17th-century inn that has been altered over time. It features a linear plan with three ground floor rooms and an internal chimney of the RCHM type J. The building stands two storeys high and includes dormers. It is constructed with a timber frame and has colour-washed brick nogging, along with modern applied half-timberwork added later. The roof is covered with old tiles and includes a gabled dormer. The original ground floor casement windows have been altered, and there is a modern central doorway with an arched head. The Old Plough Inn, along with Nos 99, 101, and the White Horse Hotel, forms a group of buildings.
