Description

The White House is a late 17th century or early 18th century two-storey cottage featuring a dormer. An earlier 19th century wing, which is three storeys high and has three windows, was added to the west side. The cottage has a modern tiled roof and a central red brick ridge stack. It is faced with whitewashed brick and pebble-dash, supported by a timber frame. The stucco wing has a slated roof with projecting eaves. The cottage includes a ground floor Yorkshire sash window, while the wing features recessed sash windows with glazing bars and a modern doorway. There are cast iron railings and a gate leading to the churchyard, adorned with urn finials. The White House, along with Nos 5 and 7, forms a group.
