Description

The Village Pump is a cast iron Gothic hand pump located on The Green in Houghton. It was made by John Warner and Son from Cripplegate, London, and was donated by Potto Brown. The pump is noted for its architectural style and historical significance, with a reference to 'Houghton and Wyton' by P.G.M. Dickinson from 1973.
