Description

The Three Horse Shoes Public House is a 17th-century inn located on The Green in Houghton. The building is timber-framed and covered in colour-washed brick, featuring one storey with attics and pantile roofs. It has a ridge stack made of two-inch bricks and an end stack. The façade includes two gabled dormer windows with hung sashes and glazing bars, along with three hung sash windows with glazing bars and one blind window, all set in segmental arches at the ground floor. A modern door is positioned to the right. Inside, there is a large inglenook hearth.
