Description

This is a late 17th or early 18th century cottage located on the south west side of High Street, Brampton. It is timber-framed and has been roughcast rendered with a thatched roof. The building features a small brick ridge stack and an end stack on the right-hand gable. The cottage is one storey high with garret space, including a gabled dormer. There are two splayed bay windows, likely dating to the early 19th century, with hung sash windows containing glazing bars. A thatched, gabled, and open-sided porch shelters a half-glazed door.
