Description

The war memorial located in Castle Square, Wisbech, is a tall Celtic cross featuring a relief design of serpents. The base of the memorial is inscribed with the names of those who died in the First World War and is supported by a stepped plinth. Made of granite sourced from Aberdeen, it was erected in 1920.
