Description
Nos. 31 and 32 on Somers Road were built in 1814 as a house behind the Sessions House. The building is constructed of local brown brick and features a slate roof with two chimneys. It has two storeys and a basement, and is divided into four bays. The façade includes a parapet with stone copings and a cornice band. On the first floor, there are three twelve-paned hung sash windows and one blind window. Flanking the late 19th-century single-storey street extension, which has a large three-light hung sash window, are two entrances. The right-hand entrance has a half-glazed door approached by steps with iron railings and features a patterned fanlight.
