Description
No. 11 South Brink is a mid to late 18th century house that now serves as an annex to the Queen's Hotel. It is constructed of local brown brick with an interlocking modern tile roof and features end stacks. The building has red brick dressings on the quoins, window, and door jambs. It stands three storeys tall and has five bays, with a plinth at the base.
On the second floor, there are five recessed original 18th century six-paned hung sash windows set in cambered, gauged red brick arches. The first floor also has five similar windows, while the ground floor features four twelve-paned windows. The entrance includes a six-panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above it, and another door with eight fielded panels. A wooden canopy supported by carved console brackets adorns the entrance.
Inside, the building retains original cornices and chimney pieces, and it is now linked to No. 12 as part of the hotel extension.
