Description

No. 9 South Brink is an early 19th-century house that was formerly the Police Station. It is constructed of local brown brick and features a slate roof with a rear stack. The building has a shallow parapet with stone copings, a stone cill band, and a plinth. It stands three storeys tall with a basement.

On the second floor, there are four wide, twelve-paned hung sash windows set within cambered gauged brick arches. The first and ground floors have similar sixteen-paned windows, which are placed in recessed, arched brick panels. The entrance is located to the right of the center and consists of a six-panelled door topped with a rectangular fanlight.
