Description
This is a late 18th-century house with a later range built behind it. The roof is covered in modern tiles and features tumbled parapet gables and a saw-tooth eaves cornice. Chimneys are located at each end of the building. The house has two storeys and an attic space, with three dormers featuring hung sashes and glazing bars. The front facade is symmetrical, with a three-window arrangement of hung sashes with glazing bars set within cambered arches. Later additions include two canted bays with hung sashes on the ground floor. The door surround consists of pilasters and a plain entablature, leading to a later door made of two flush panels and four glazed panels, topped with a semi-circular fanlight containing glazing bars. The reveals are panelled. The garden front has a left-hand wall featuring a brick and stone pier with a ball finial, approximately 8 feet high, and a similar pier on the right-hand side, now reduced.
