Description
Manor House is a late 18th-century building constructed of narrow gault brick, featuring a plain tiled roof with parapet gables and end stacks. The house is two storeys high and has a symmetrical five-window arrangement of hung sashes with glazing bars set in cambered arches. The entrance is marked by a doorcase with fluted pilasters, an entablature that includes a decorated frieze, a continuous frieze band, and a triangular pediment. The door itself has six raised and fielded panels topped by a semi-circular arched fanlight with glazing bars, and the reveals are panelled. Inside, the ground floor rooms retain original doorcases and cornice mouldings, along with an original open-string staircase featuring two flights and turned balusters. There is a modern range added to the rear.
