This is a house and shop, dating to circa 1780, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. The building is constructed of gault brick and has a steeply pitched roof now covered with cement tiles. End stacks are present. The house has a rear lean-to addition, and features a two-storey, three-window front. The windows are recessed, twelve-pane hung sashes with stone sills, now painted. The central doorway has an early 19th-century reeded doorcase with panelled reveals.
