Description

The Vicarage is a vicarage built around 1869 as part of the Park development scheme alongside St. Augustine's Church, designed by architect Mr. Bassett-Smith. It is constructed from yellow gault brick with red brick banding and decorative elements. The building features a plain tile roof adorned with patterned ridge tiles and is two storeys high with attics. It showcases a multi-gabled design in the Gothic style, with single-light or paired-light windows that have trefoiled stone arches. There is a staircase window with a transom, and the entrance, facing west, is set within a two-centred stone arch and features a half-glazed, panelled door. To the left, there is a four-light bay window with a slate roof.
