Description
This is an 18th-century range of four terraced houses, numbered 7 to 11, with possible elements from an earlier structure. Numbers 7 and 9 have been painted. The houses are two storeys tall with attics. They originally had a four-window front, featuring double-hung sash windows, mostly with glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. Number 9 includes a 19th-century mullioned window with gothic arches and casements on the first floor. A raised brick band runs horizontally between the ground and first floors. The front doors are six-panel affairs, and numbers 7 and 9 have stucco doorcases. The roofs are tiled, using old Cambridgeshire tiles, although numbers 7 and 9 are now covered with cement slurry. There are four flat-headed dormers in the roof. The houses are part of a group that includes numbers 2 to 12 (even) and number 58 Fore Hill.
