Description
Cables Farmhouse is a farmhouse from the mid-19th century, situated in front of an original 17th-century timber-framed building. The structure is made of gault brick and features a hipped slate roof with end stacks. The earlier timber-framed section is cased in flint with red brick dressings and has a steeply pitched slated roof, along with a local brick ridge stack. The front elevation has two storeys, with deep bracketed eaves, a band between the floors, and linking windows. There are three first-floor hung sash windows and three larger ground-floor hung sash windows, all shaped to segmental gauged brick arches. Recessed brick panels are located between the windows, and the main entrance is found in the east gable of the earlier building.
