Description
No. 25 is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century. It is timber framed and plastered, with some of the wall frames rebuilt. The roof is covered with red pantiles and features a rebuilt red brick ridge stack located to the left of the center. The building has one storey and an attic, with three gabled casement dormer windows and three three-light casement windows on the ground floor. A half-glazed door is set within a modern gabled porch. Inside, the farmhouse has exposed floor frames with chamfered axial beams, and an internal truss that may be of an earlier date. There is an inglenook hearth, and the roof structure is intact.
