Description
Ridgeleys Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century and late 18th century. It is possibly timber framed, with sections of 17th century red brick and late 18th century gault brick, topped with plain tile roofs. The building is two storeys high and has an L-plan layout. The street-facing facade features four bays, which are cased in late 18th century gault brick. There is a reduced ridge stack and a large red brick gable end stack to the south, with rebuilt upper courses. The ground floor has three hung sash windows with shutters, set in segmental brick arches, and there are four similar windows on the first floor. The main entrance is located to the left of centre and features a pedimented wooden doorcase with a six-panelled door. The interior was not seen during the last inspection in 1984.
