Description

Hillside Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, featuring a later outshut at the rear. It is timber-framed and plaster rendered, topped with a steeply pitched pantiled roof, which was likely originally thatched. The cottage has a ridge stack made of gault brick and a plan consisting of two bays. It is one storey high with an attic. The front wall has two 20th-century windows, and the current entrance is located in a side wall, although it was probably originally positioned opposite the stack.
