Description

The wall to Number 3, located on West Fen Road, is a Grade II listed structure dating from the 17th to 18th century. This brick and stone rubble wall extends approximately 34 yards along the north-west boundary of the garden belonging to Number 3, also known as Waterloo House. It incorporates reused medieval stone. On the north-east side, there is a weathered stone featuring a carved head, which is possibly a 16th-century depiction of a female head with a ruff. The upper section of the wall is a later addition, constructed in brick and set back from the original structure.
