Description

An early 19th century pair of brick houses stands on Chapel Street. The houses are two storeys high with a three-window front. They feature double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, set within flush-cased frames with segmental arched heads. The doorways have wooden doorcases consisting of narrow pilasters, arched friezes, and flat cornice hoods. The roofs are slate covered. The buildings are part of a group of early 19th century structures that also includes numbers 2 to 8 (even), The Congregational Chapel, numbers 9 to 12 (consec), and number 15 Lynn Road.
