Description
This is a late 18th century or early 19th century brick house, now painted, located at 2 and 2a Chapel Street and 15 Lynn Road. It is part of a block that includes No 15 Lynn Road. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars, set in flush eased frames. There is one 20th-century window on the ground floor. The entrance has a wooden doorcase with pilasters and a small cornice hood. The roof is covered with old Cambridgeshire tiles. The houses from Nos 2 to 8 (even), the Congregational Chapel, Nos 9 to 12 (consecutive), and Nos 16 and 18, along with No 15 Lynn Road, form a consistent group of early 19th century buildings.
