Description

12 Chapel Street is an early to mid-19th century gault brick house. It is two storeys high with a three-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars in plain reveals. A central four-panel door is set within a stucco doorcase featuring pilasters and a cornice, and is topped by a plain rectangular fanlight. The roof is slate. The house forms a consistent group of early 19th century buildings with Nos 2-8 (even), The Congregational Chapel, Nos 9-12 (consec), No 15 Lynn Road and Nos 16 & 18.
