Description
114 and 116 St Peter's Road are a pair of early 19th-century houses located within a terrace in West Lynn. They are built from irregularly coursed carstone with gault-brick dressings and have roofs made of concrete corrugated tiles. The houses are two storeys tall with irregular bays, and No. 114 has a wider front than No. 116. Both houses feature central doors set under round arches; No. 114 has a 20th-century flat-topped timber porch, while No. 116 has a gabled porch of a similar style.
No. 114 has pointed-arched casement windows on either side of the door, although the left window is boarded. No. 116 has a similar window to the right of its door only. Each house has one identical casement window on the first floor. Under the eaves, there are four evenly spaced gault-brick blind slit lights. In the center, there is a painted plaster clasped hand, and immediately below it are three roundels featuring a sheaf of corn, an anchor, and a plough, all made of painted plaster. The gabled roof has a ridge stack at the division between the two properties and end stacks shared with the adjoining houses.
