Description
No 24 St Marys Street is a late 18th century house constructed from yellow gault brick. It features a decorative wood eaves cornice with modillions. The building has three storeys and cellars, with a five-window range of double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars and are set in cased frames. A raised brick band is present between the first and second storeys. The entrance consists of a central six-panel door topped by a semi-circular fanlight, framed by panelled reveals and a stone Tuscan doorcase with plain pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. The roof is tiled and has a treble pitch with stopped gables, using Old Cambridgeshire tiles.
