Description

The Chestnuts is a house that possibly dates back to the late 15th century. It has a timber frame and is plastered, topped with a thatched roof. The building features a tall red brick ridge stack and a large side stack on the southeast side. It stands two storeys high and consists of five bays with a continuous jetty. On the first floor, there are three casement windows and one small fixed light window. The ground floor has four casement windows, and the entrance is located in a recessed porch with a boarded door.
