Description

No. 30 Egremont Street is a large 16th-century timber-framed house that was refronted in the 18th century or early 19th century with gault brick. The building has two storeys and features a five-window range, primarily consisting of three-light gothic arched casements without glazing bars. The doorway is adorned with stucco pilasters and a cornice. On the west end, there is a three-light oriel window on the first storey. Inside, the house boasts well-crafted moulded and carved beams, as well as a medieval chimney stack that has an open pargetted round flue. Egremont House and Nos. 30 and 31 form a group.
