Description
Egremont House is a large early 19th century house made of gault brick, featuring a low parapet and a plain stone band. It stands three storeys tall and has a five-window arrangement, with the center part of one window range slightly projecting forward. The first and second storeys have double hung sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground storey features large French windows set in plain reveals with stuccoed flat arches. Stone bands run between the storeys. The central doorway is framed by a slightly projecting stucco tetrastyle Ionic portico with plain columns. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. Egremont House, along with Nos 30 and 31, forms a group.
