Description

The Methodist Chapel, built in 1835, features a symmetrical facade with three bays. In 1914, it was extended by one bay to the south and east, maintaining matching architectural details. The chapel is constructed of gault brick and has a hipped slate roof. It includes plastered, round-headed brick arches over four windows, which have glazing bars shaped to fit the arches. The entrance consists of double boarded doors topped with a round-headed fanlight. Above the door is a plastered blind arch with a moulded inscription that reads 'Wesleyan Chapel' and 'Erect 1835'. Inside, the chapel has a pine boarded ceiling.
