Description

No. 109 The Causeway is an early 18th-century cottage. It is built of painted clunch with a local brick plinth and quoins, featuring parapet gables with kneelers. The end stacks have been rebuilt. The cottage has a thatched roof and is one storey with an attic. It includes three gabled casement dormer windows and two three-light ground floor windows set in segmental brick arches, along with a half-glazed door on the left side. There is a gable extension to the west from the 19th century, which has painted brick walls and a pantiled roof.
