Description

12 and 13 Botolph Lane are a 16th-century timber-framed building, remodelled in the 18th century, with more recent additions. The original timber frame is infilled with later brick. The building is two storeys high with an attic. The front facade is modern brickwork with modern windows, and a tiled mansard roof featuring three hipped dormers. A central chimney stack remains. Number 13 has a recessed sash window on the ground floor, with a modern wooden entablature extending across the entire front. Number 12 has casement windows; a bow window on the ground floor features two lights, with sliding sash windows above. The buildings are part of a group of listed buildings along Botolph Lane.
