Description

BRIDGE STREET 1. 942 (North-east Side) Nos 10 to 14(consec) TL 4458 NE 3/40A 9.4.69. II GV 2. With No 16 Round Church Street. C17 and C18; No 12 is circa 1600. Of various builds. Nos 10 and 16 Round Church Street were originally of one build, but No 10 is connected internally with No 11, originally of one build with No 12; Nos 13 and 14 being a continuation of the same building. No 16 Round Church Street 2 storeys and attic, plastered, 4 sash windows, 2 gabled dormers in old tile roof. Modern shops. Nos l0 to 14 Originally 3 buildings, all of 2 storeys; corner building without attics. Plastered fronts, centre jettied with 3 triple-hung sashes with consoles and cornices. Parapet and old tile mansard roof with 2 dormers. House on West, 2 sash windows and mansard roof. Corner house with slate roof. Some original internal features. No 10 has one room with Cl7 panelling and an C18 staircase. No 12 has some panelling and a late C18 staircase but is the most altered internally. (RCHM Nos 10, 11 and 16, 192 Nos 12, 13 and 14, 191). Nos 8 to 19 (consec), the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Church of St Clement form a group.
