Description
Nos 8 and 9 on Bridge Street are 18th-century buildings, although No 9 has a much older core. No 8 is constructed of brick, while No 9 is timber-framed and plastered. Both buildings are three storeys tall and feature two windows with 19th-century sash frames. They have modern shopfronts. No 8 includes an attic dormer and has old tile roofs, while No 9 boasts a notable brick chimney stack. Inside No 9, there are 16th-century cellars, a 17th-century rear wing, an 18th-century staircase, and much 17th- and 18th-century panelling. Together, Nos 8 to 19, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and The Church of St Clement form a group.
