Description

69 Bridge Street is an 18th-century red brick town house that stands three storeys tall. It features bands between the storeys and below a six-panelled parapet. The building has six windows with flush frames and glazing bars, and the ground floor is adorned with fielded panelled shutters. The entrance includes a six-fielded panelled door with a simple moulded architrave and a rectangular fanlight above it. There are two lead rain-water pipes with shaped heads, dated 1791. This property is a good example of Georgian architecture. The roof is not visible. Inside, the dining room showcases 18th-century fielded panelling. Nos 63 to 69 and Nos 71 to 73 form a group.
