No. 13 St John's Street is an 18th-century building constructed of grey gault brick. It stands four storeys tall and features two windows with 19th-century sash frames. The building also has a 19th-century shopfront and is topped with a slate roof. Nos. 11 to 17 and Nos. 63 to 65 Bridge Street, which are consecutive, form a group with this building, contributing to the significance of the area, especially as it closes Bridge Street on the south.
