Description
Nos 15 and 16 on Bridge Street are early 16th-century buildings that were altered in the 19th century. They are three storeys high, constructed with timber framing and plaster, and have a tiled roof. Both the first and second floors project outwards, with the second floor supported by carved brackets. The second floor features four sliding sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor of No 15 has two 18th-century oriel windows. The buildings have modern shop fronts, but much of the internal layout remains intact along with some original features. These buildings, along with Nos 8 to 19, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Church of St Clement, form a group of significant structures.
