Description
These buildings, numbered 32 to 50 on Maid’s Causeway, date from around 1825 and are constructed of grey gault brick. Numbers 32, 34, and 36 are two storeys high with two windows each. They feature sash windows with glazing bars, except for number 36, which has modern windows. Number 36 also has modern gabled dormers. The front doors are panelled, with the exception of number 40; number 38 has a door surround with reeded pilasters. The roofs are slate. Numbers 42, 44, 46, and 48 are three storeys and have an attic. Number 48 has modern sash windows. Number 50 is two storeys high with an attic and has two late 19th-century dormers with bargeboards.
