Description

Jesus Green Lock and Bridge is a Grade II listed structure built in 1832, designed by engineer William Chadwell Mylne. The lock is located to the south and features a combination of white brick with red brick patching and stone coping. It includes two pairs of wooden lock gates and a small swing footbridge. To the north, there are a pair of 20th-century sluice gates, leading to a V-shaped weir. An iron footbridge spans all three elements, supported by pairs of girders with arched braces and a lattice balustrade.
