Description
Nos 7 to 18 on Northampton Street are a range of tenements built in the 18th century. The buildings are two storeys high, with a lower section made of brick and an upper section that is timber-framed and plastered. They have a tile roof and feature sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The doors are simple and rectangular, topped with board hoods, and there are central rectangular chimney stacks. While these buildings are not of great architectural merit, they fit well with the character of the street. Nos 1 to 19 and Nos 21 to 30 on the same street form a group.
