Description
Nos 17 to 20 on Little London are a range of small houses built in the late 18th century. These houses project forward by about 2 feet from Nos 15 and 16 and have a slightly higher frontage. They are two storeys tall with an attic and feature one window on each floor. The houses have tiled gabled roofs with four small chimneys and small brick dentilled eaves cornices. There are flat-roofed dormers on Nos 17, 18, and 19. The buildings are made of red brick and have sash windows set in frames with slightly curved headings, complete with rubbed brick voussoirs and intact glazing bars. The doorways have moulded frames and plain pediment hoods supported by plain brackets. The doors are set in reveals and are six-panelled with fielded centre panels; in Nos 17, 18, and 19, the top two panels are cut away and glazed. Nos 11 to 20 form a group.
