Description

The garden walls enclosing Friars Gate House on the north and west sides are constructed of flint, stone, and brick rubble set in mortar, with brick capping on the north side that extends eastward from the gate piers. The western wall is made of red brick, featuring alternating red brick and grey headers towards the southern end, with a small section of flint and stone rubble at the north end, extending south from the gate piers. Both walls are slightly lower in height than the gate piers.
