Description
Pembroke College's New Court, built in 1883 by G. G. Scott (junior), features a design that combines elements from the 17th century with details from the Italian Renaissance. The building showcases Gibbs' surrounds on the ground floor windows, while the first floor is adorned with mullioned and transomed windows. It also includes distinctive Dutch gables and pediments. Constructed from stone, the building has three storeys and a basement, with a rusticated ground floor. The windows on the upper levels are arranged in pairs, and the roof is tiled.
