Description
The Geological Museum, Law School, and University Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology is a building constructed between 1904 and 1911 by Sir T G Jackson. It is made of red brick with stone dressings. The entrance block facing Downing Street features the former Squire Law Library, which is prominent due to its three arched openings, each with wrought-iron gates. The building has three storeys and attics, with paired windows and tiled roofs. Inside the Museum, there is an old choir screen from Winchester Cathedral designed by Inigo Jones.
