Description
The Bell House Public House is a former 16th century timber-framed and plastered farmhouse, designed in an L-shaped plan. It stands two storeys high with attics. The first storey juts out on the north front, supported by curved brackets, and this jettied feature is also present on the south front of the east wing. The windows are casements with lattice leaded lights, arranged in a two-window range on the north front. Gabled wings extend from the west side of the building, and the roof is tiled. Inside, the property showcases exposed timber-framing and ceiling joists.
