Description

PETERBOROUGH 1. 1500 PRECINCTS No 19 TL 1998 NW 1/366 7.2.52. I 2. House mainly early C19, but some features of C13, and cl+ alterations. Stone. Stone slate roof. 2 brick chimneys at gable ends. 1 hipped dormer, leaded casement, 2 storeys. 2-storey early Cl9 3-light bay window, rendered between storeys, double hung sashes with glazing bars. Central long recess has one 4-light window, leaded glazing, above a 6-panel door with rectangular ornamental fanlight. C13 buttress to right with one small lancer iqindo+i. 2 re-used C$j human mask corbels to the recess and one to the left. 1 window of 3 lights to each storey leaded glazing. Left quoin and side repaired in brick.
