Description
No 1 Glinton Road is an early 19th-century cottage, which was formerly known as the Parting Pot Public House. The building is positioned at right angles to the road and is constructed from coursed stone rubble. It features a concrete tile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys tall. The cottage has a two-window range, with three-light casements that include glazing bars. There is a central doorway, and both the ground floor windows and the doorway are topped with keyblocked flat arches. Above the doorway, there is a tablet inscribed with "S" over "IM1819". The building has end brick chimney stacks and is included for its group value.
